The garden was a tribute to King Charles’ years of environmental campaigning and climate-friendly gardening.
Using a regal colour palette of blues and purples, plants were mostly chosen for their ability to cope with a changing climate, demonstrating how to create a garden that is both beautiful to the eye and beneficial to the environment. Sculptural tree stumps were incorporated to remind visitors of the famous stumpery at Highgrove, allowing dead wood to support new life by providing a habitat for beneficial insects and wildlife.
